Peleg Design - Magenetic Vases

A thin metal base placed under any tablecloth and a strong magnet on the bottom of the vase holds it in an upright position. An interesting image is created of a vase standing upright with no base. I think these would be really cool if you could get them to hang perfectly sideways on a wall. It would make for a very interesting way to display flowers without having to drill into your walls.

Shahar Peleg, owner of Peleg Design, is a multi-disciplined designer, he designs, develops and produces commercial products in small quantities. His products are sold in design stores in Israel and other countries including Japan, Singapore, and the US. He has also been a feature exhibitor in numerous shows in Israel and around the world.

Shahar designs every-day objects with additional values which give them a fresh character. His experimentation with optical illusions and magic result in smart and surprising products that challenge the spectator to take a closer, more detailed look. Road Kill Carpet

As usual,

i was doing some research by surfing the internet.

I viewed quite a lot of my favourite blogs
and then i came across with this ROAD KILL CARPET
haha

It's pretty cool if i have one.

The Road Kill carpet designed by the design group OOOMS based in the Netherlands.

"Do you know the feeling that you do not want to take a look at something, but you still do? The Road Kill carpet is a continues struggle between attraction and repulsion. It’s a warm, soft, cuddly carpet that attracts you to take a nap on it, but at the same time it's a repulsive image of a car-flattened, bloody fox."

Studio OOOMS is run by Guido Ooms and Karin van Lieshout. Guido Ooms graduated from the Design Academy Eindhoven in 2000. After working as a freelance designer at different companies he started his own studio. Next to running the studio he also teaches design at the School of Arts in Utrecht. Karin van Lieshout graduated from the Design Academy Eindhoven in 2001. She has a degree in teaching and worked in various designcollectives before she joined forces with Guido.

I felt upset these few days.
i know the reasons why i felt that way...
relationship?
no.
assignments?
no..
internship?
not really, no...i'm the lucky one who do not need to interview so many companies
just to grab an opportunity to work
for completing the stupid internship.
but maybe,
the internship thingy is one of the causes that making me unhappy.

We are human being.
The most clever creature in this world.
we are well known with our wisdom in managing, creating stuffs, and etc.
BUT,
we are lacking of wisdom in managing our own emotions.

We have many types of emotions,
everybody uses different way to express it out.
Sometimes it comes in bad, sometimes it is not.
when it comes with bad, it hurts...him/her self and the rest around him/her.
but, i know...
that is acceptable.
Because,
normally,
we are not good in managing our own emotions.
especially when you are panic or fucking worry about certain thing which is
goddamn utterly important
like
INTERNSHIP.
Everyone wants to get a good company,
so do i.
but very luckily,
my brother-in-law is a designer too,
and he is one of the co-founder of a design firm.
so, he had offered me a job for my internship.
THANK GOD.

Just because of him, i do not have to deal with the problems
which my fellow classmates are facing now.
HAHA.
To me,
that was so unexpected!
We used to study in the same class.
Every year,
every week,
every day,
every hour,
every minute,
every second
that we had spent with each other
are already not important at all
when it comes to the so called 'T junction' in our life.
Friendship and Internship
which one would you choose?
or
you choose both of them?
if i were you,
i choose to be greedy,
because i want both of them.

I know someone out there will 'shoot' me right to my face after reading this bull crap
with a simple sentence:
'duh, of coz lar~you no need to worry about it anymore,
we have to run for so many companies you know?'
HELL YES!!! I KNOW THAT!
but it does not mean that you should do something which is selfish.
I know you can do it in a better way.
and if you did,
you are lovely to everyone.
including to yourself.
But,
anyway,
that is still acceptable!
